9 of March money was returned - with no excuses or even comments, but its doesn't matter - we WON!
INTRO - someone hacked Airbnb account of 1 of our Phangan villa owners and made few changes to open the way to send later the money for long booking of the villa to unknown bank account, what was added together with new telephone number and creating a new filters in Google mail account. Strange thing was in "login hostory" - was deleted - which could be made only by someone working in Airbnb office - but villa owner catch the chance to make the screenshots of that magic movement. Investigation started from long period of silence - from all the official ways of the Airbnb contacts. On day 3 - at 2-nd of March - we tried various Airbnb Twitter accounts and eventually got the reply - since that time we're in rare communication, and days after this case even was marked as "urgent" -but no money still - its arrived only week after, while we use all the ways to get them back. 5 of March - no any news about the money, but I started new stream with them - offer Airbnb to be $-partner of our island's Eco-center - as the only beautiful solution of that weird story. That big house of story - the only big beach house here - planned to be transformed to "Marine research Center" - where the last guests supposed to be Airbnb-clients - Brian in May. 4 of March - my case became "urgent" - as Airbnb said via Twitter. Irt is means that we can get our money?! - let's see. Is it means that after all, even if refund will happens, we will work with Airbnb? - more than possible, we will continue to pay them about 1/3 of total income - after expences and taxes - for that great nerves-spending service - at least until we'll build for us our own solution.

3 of March - and Sun on Koh Phangan. And we've got the reply from Twitter - you never know today what is the best "official" way to contact such a huge monster-like web-company - now its Twitter. Nothing clear with the money yet, and 3-d of March is a day when as its stated in auto-email money should arrive to unknown account.

Yes I understand, thank you for feedback. But it was stated that money will arrive to "my account" at 3-d of March, what's means that its somewhere, and scammers already have a chance to send it further, and then you probably will inform me that its our fault, what is maybe partially true, but I still can't understand how its could happens and see that its very big chances that its somebody from backoffice - because of changing the login history. But if its really rare single case and you will do the best to prevent it from repeating in future - better to solve it with us somehow - because I posting the details asking for help - here is still big money - and every step I make has minor, but negative impact on your Business, and I always in search for bigger damage, because I believe that you protecting your people who works there - its actually logic to be on their side comparing to some island's aborigens:) But this island also full of your Californians staying here - and involve them too its my next brillian idea. 2 March is a Wonderful - with a tea under the blue sky, however no any news from Airbnb. As other host advised from "community", we sent few letters to Twitter accounts of Airbnb and couple of those who said that they "founders" of Airbnb and even CEO:
"Hey what happens?! I had a scam case days ago, found suspicious stuff like disappearing of history what user can't delete and wrote you 1000+ letters and calls - and you didn't reply on any of them. Please do something - now the sum is less than 2k of green fresh US-dollars - what's a point of that "scilence"?!"

- first day of Spring - we reduced the danger to half of the amount by cutting the day of check-out to tomorrow - 2-nd of March, and agrred with guests that they will receive from Airbnb and pay that difference themselves! However few more letters and attempts to call to international offices of Airbnb didn't reach even minimum goal - any reply or feedback. Let's see what Future have to offer, o World - you full of wonders!
Other our actions with host - post on Airbnb community board and requests for advice from competent friends and online-communities - also didn't get the results yet, except of natural human's compassion.Let's see how can we awake that feeling in some LA-souls from abroad - "its big honor even try"! 28 Feb - This occurence with Airbbnb happening now - someone hacked the password, added and confirmed new bank account and sent there good amount of money from villa rent. Phangan spirit added - guests who paid are in the house and maybe will appears below too - if I'll meet them and convince to make a picture:) Few letters from the host were sent to Airbnb more than 24 hours ago together with attempts to call them using both of urgent numbers - and no any reply yet. Let's hear from the house host.
"Its not a first time when we can lose the money - before it happens by almost-full refunding to the guests - when 2 weeks after staying at the house they deicided .to get their money back - they wrote to airbnb wrote that they didn't stay there, because its wasn't secure enough according to their own standards - and Airbnb surprised us by over-paying them back our money - gave them 3/4 of total sum instead of requested half."
Welcome to reality - they really didn't mean to help us or "provide best service" -its just a BIMMM - big ignorant money making machine. Both cases telling me that we should work more on building our own travel platform to rent the villas on Phangan, rooms in resorts & hotels and houses with no commission, direct fast contacts and flexible terms of booking. Let's see how far I can go with that - watching the Moonrise at new Sanctuary.
"Hi from the potential victim of new Airbnb scam scheme - 26 of Feb our guests arrived to the house, and next day 27.02 Airbnb sent the money to unknown bank - so its still on a way, but we can't do nothing for now to stop it and send to us. So now I just share this experience and maybe we'll mention about other ways to lose your money on global accommodation platform".
Probably the problem is a e-mail access - its give to frauders further chance to add new telephone and bank account. So beware to keep your e-mail data secure, however as far as I know its always easy for crime-pro to get the password, using various tricks. Let's see the all steps and traces from the scammers!
1. Filters oin e-mail settings - after login into the house owner e-mail, frauders created 2 filters for airbnb response server and for e-mails from airbnb with link to reset the password.
2. Added new unknown bank account - using the advantages of the web-look, which was made to serve & protect - the fact, that you can see only last 4 digits of IBAN code and don't know even the name of bank. Marking Paypal or other bank as "default" and seing that owner can easily lose care even when ocassionally visits the page.
3. Left traces in login history in Airbnb account security page - history in places, such as Secausus in USA & Milan in Italy can both means some remote servers and actual travel of someone with bad intentions. Interesting, that day after history was cutted - I don't see the way how to do it there.
4. Added new telephone number - for further confirmations of fradulent actions 2-nd number was added - owner didn't even know about that function.
5. Did something else to prevent the actions from the owner - even after all of that he still can't change the password - "something went wrong. Please try again later" - says the system of biggest accommodation platform after all the balance on mobile spent on waiting the responce from the robot. So he trying:)

I just became a victim of new-style fraud and hope that you still can do something - good guests just checked-in and will stay 2 weeks longer. Money for reservation was sent to new unknown bank account, which with other smart & nesessary preparations was added not by me, and it will arrive there just 3 of March - so we have yet time to act!
Details of scheme:
1. gangsters connected other bank
- while my Paypal still was default, money for new reservation went to the new bank in Europe, while guests still here. Both of my bank & Paypal were on my name, and that new one obviously don't , but your system, allows it, as criminals know it well.
2. changed my e-mail settings
- so I don’t receiving password reset e-mails and few others;
3.added other telephone in Europe
- and confirm it from there - I saw login history - it was logins from USA, Italy and then Bangkok & Phuket
4. was waiting for good long booking
- & tranzaction and sent it just now, whe we have guests from Germany for more than 2 weeks.
However money still on a way to wrong direction I'm afraid that we can miss it - i even don't know the bank name, because you can see just 4 last numbers of IBAN there in your system, - and already deleted it.
Let's do something quick - couple of e-mails to support I sent already and trying to call you 2-nd day i n a row.
Its interesting that I noticed it at the time after the money just was sent, and now have a time to act while guests still staying at the villa, and money for their stay still on the way to web-scammers:)
But only Airbnb know the details of that bank of destination to contact it and freeze it there. So let's see how easy it will be. I have a feeling that not so - few days ago I received Airbnb new policy updates, and its surprised me - there are no word about airbnb famous 30 mln. insurance anymore and similar "security" issues.

If you are a Host, you understand and agree that Airbnb does not act as an insurer or as your contracting agent. If a Guest requests a Booking of your Accommodation and stays at your Accommodation, any agreement you enter into with such Guest is between you and the Guest and Airbnb is not a party to it.
Airbnb recommends that Hosts obtain appropriate insurance for their Accommodations...
Airbnb may offer Hosts the option of having photographers take photographs of their Accommodations. If you as a Host choose to have photographer do this, Airbnb shall own all copyrights in photographs taken but these photographs will be made available to you to include in your Listing with a watermark or tag bearing the words “Airbnb.com Verified Photo” or similar wording
Guest Fees” means the fee that Airbnb charges a Guest for the use of the Services, which is calculated as a percentage of the applicable Accommodation Fees. The Guest Fees will be displayed to the Guest when the Guest is asked whether to send a Booking request to a Host.
In certain circumstances, Airbnb may decide, in its sole discretion, that it is necessary or desirable to cancel a confirmed Booking made via the Site, Application and Services. This may be for reasons set forth in Airbnb’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy or for any other reason. Airbnb may also determine, in its sole discretion, to refund to the Guest part or all of the amounts charged to the Guest in accordance with the Guest Refund Policy or in connection with a cancellation under Airbnb’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy. You agree that Airbnb and the relevant Guest or Host will not have any liability for such cancellations or refunds.
