Every year, every month people coming to Phangan wondering - when is the best season to come to the island for swimming. As we know, its not so comfortable to swim in a sea from April in a half of the island - Thongsala to Haad Rin Nai.
Here below the Samui tide schedule 2012, applicable also for Phangan - you can see when is highest level of water. Because however its a lots of things to do in Koh Phangan - its a island, and swimming is number one for many travelers (what's an eyeopener!).
Of course, its a plenty of swimming pools everywhere on the island - nice chills all year round!
The power of word in action - after years of talks and gossips about airport on Phangan its really going to be done during next year. Location - Haad Nam Tok on the east of the island, in 10 min drive from Than Prapard and Kung Bungalow (both listed on our website). It means a lot for the island, and firstly that those 2 resorts (with cheap rental price and good concrete road soon - building now) becoming really interesting offers.

Some people coming to Phangan now noticing lots of changes, some philosophically saying that "all the same". Ecce homo... We just writing few news on island. 1. Phangan events, party-arena. 2012 promising few new nice party-events. Skye-bar - few parties were organized and guests enjoyed clear sound, video-installation and laser-show, nice cocktails and great tech-music. Look the schedule soon on our events page! Between Baan Tai and Thon Nai Pan, on a road to Half-Moon festival (behind it). "Love IS" festival, planned to run every month 2 weeks after Full-Moon - first party will be tomorrow, at Haad Rin, "Tommy Resort" beach. We wish the best - Haad Rin resorts can be live more than Full-Moon week in a month with a beginning of new level of event-organization. Real estate. We can't say that real estate market getting more and more busy in new year, but for the potential buyers positive changes happens. Resort for rent - Than Prapard resort (RR001) costs now just 400 k THB per year, and that's one of the most wonderful area of the island! Hostel in Baan Tai, RR004 - new price of key-money 1,2 mln - attractive offer for 10 rooms, bar, kitchen and much more space! Marketing - Jungle Hut in Chao Phao fully-booked for more than 3 weeks. We starting to launch online booking for "Paradise Home Stay" - newest hostel added to Paradise family. House rental - almost all represented houses are fully-booked until mid of February.
Koh Phangan New Year eve - just 2 weeks left. Few rooms still available for booking on Phangan One - Mae Haad, Baan Kai, Baan Kai, Srittanu. From 5 nights minimum stay. Its true - despite of approaching Christmas & New Year period, its still possible to rent a house on Koh Phangan! Different areas, but not in Chaloklum.
1. 2-bedroom house in Woktum with nice ocean view. Price from just 15,000 THb/month (long stay rate). House not represented on page yet.

While half of Thailand having heavy showers, here on Phangan we have some rains mostly in a night time. So, new offers appearing. 1. Almost all the resort's managers and owners finding the idea to install our online-booking engine to their property website very attractive: we have free of charge plan, connect it to the local booking-website, and deposit going strait to the resort. The only obstacles, are, as usual, a small questions. Now I'll explain some of the important parts of that process. 1. Registration. Register in Phangan One (right down on main page) and write us the e-mail with property details and contacts. After the confirmation we will mark you as "hotelier" and will create property admin with access. 2. Payment gateway.Working with us you can use Paypal, Moneybookers, merchant or other options.
